1G Bike Map

BikeMap

This will get better (and scaled properly) soon but I wanted to get something out as soon as possible that showed bike locations.
Last night was great. Super fun ride. There are a ton of pictures popping up, I will do my best to compile those, get permission and post them. Everyone seemed to feel like it should be a reoccurring event so we’ll try and plan something else soon.

Kick-Off Party Tomorrow!

Sorry I have been lacking in the updates department. We had a great piece on WCBE yesterday and the Alive, and NBC4 we need to post but things are moving pretty fast. So as a brief teaser update, we’ll hopefully be able to start officially announcing other central Ohio communities really soon. Pool Trade Show in Las Vegas was also generous enough to donate us a huge space for an installation to get communities nationally on board. We have a lot to look forward to and we’ll start letting you in on the secrets if you join us for a bike ride and a beer tomorrow night!

we’re in the process of creating posters for all participating everyonebikes.org retailers. if you see the poster, stop in, grab a bike, and take a spin.

Great Dispatch Piece Today

We’re working on adding a press section to the site.  Until that comes we’ll put as much as we can on the blog like this great article that was in todays Columbus Dispatch.

We could not believe the support over the weekend for the unveiling

of the bikes.  The mayor even took a brief hiatus from the hard work he was

putting in for issue 1 to come talk to us about the program.  I have never

worked on a project that has taken off and taken hold the way this has.

We have confirmations in the Short North that will more than triple the

bikes we have in the area by the end of the month.  We are also already in

talks with Dublin, Worthington, King Lincoln and Downtown and that’s

just in Columbus.  If you live in those areas and you want a bike share,

please contact us, together we can make this happen!  Thank you so much

to everyone that has made this start out better than we could have

imagined.  I can’t wait to see what’s ahead of us.
